Yoga class in Mirrormont will be offered this week on Monday evening, May 2nd, from 5 - 6 in the clubhouse. Please bring a blanket and any yoga props (blocks, bolsters, straps) you have on hand.


Practice flying safely into Bakasana (Crow Pose)!



Benefits of Crow Pose:

  • Strengthens abdominal organs to aid in lower back pain and indigestion
  • Strengthens arms

  • Stretches and strengthens inner thighs
  • Opens the groin

All ages and levels are welcome. Modifications and variations are taught as needed.

Springtime is a perfect time for yoga twists. Practicing twists slowly and mindfully allows us to penetrate deeply into the core and to experience profound musculoskeletal benefits. As we realign and create space in the spine, we reverse the compressing effects of sitting in chairs for long periods of time.

Yoga class in Mirrormont will be offered this week on Monday evening, April 11th, from 5 - 6 in the clubhouse. Please bring a blanket for savasana and two old tennis balls in a sock, as we practice some fun ways to ease pain and undo tightness and knots.

We will work on strengthening the wrists, forearms, shoulder girdle, and core. We will practice threading the needle in side plank for extra core cultivation. We will add a little belly-dance movement - pure fun!

Benefits of Dolphin Side Plank:

Love is in the air! No class this week...

Bruce and I will be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary on Monday, March 21st! We met in high school orchestra while playing Bach and he continues to uplift us with his music and with the fact that he had 20 children, compared to our mere 11. Happy Bach's Birthday (1685 - 1750), as well!
