Yoga in Mirrormont classes will continue this week on Thursday evening, October 21st, from 5 - 6 in the Clubhouse. Please bring a blanket for savasana and a portable space heater, if convenient.
We will continue focusing on poses that warm and ground us during the fall season: forward bends, twists, warriors, and arm balances. Longer holds of asanas help us to build stamina and strengthen the immune system, so that we can stay well during the colder months. We will also practice a quieting and centering meditation.
Fall ayurvedic tip: A soothing and warm tea of fresh ginger, cardamom, and cinnamon will warm the body while enhancing digestion and circulation.
